RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop monthly buy plans by predicting customer demand based on historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors.Optimize inventory levels to meet customer needs while minimizing excess stock, ensuring timely product availability in stores and online.Ensure optimal stocking of retail outlets and online stores, maintaining a balanced product assortment across all locations.Create strategies to manage seasonal demand fluctuations, ensuring timely availability of seasonal products.Analyze sales data, market trends, and other metrics to identify patterns and inform decision-making for production.Collaborate with the buying/merchandising team to forecast demand and manage the introduction of new products, coordinating with production teams.Work with the buying team to understand product costs, margins, and market trends to set competitive prices that maximize profitability.Monitor inventory levels to identify overstock and understock situations, and implement markdowns and promotional strategies with the retail and marketing teams to clear excess inventory.
