The ideal candidate will be a Kenyan citizen who has the following Key Qualifications

Diploma/ Degree in IT, computer science or any related field 2+ years of experience in computer networks and systems maintenance. Proficient in database programming and software installation. IT technician certificate will be an added advantage Install hardware and software, maintain the computer systems, diagnose, troubleshoot and repair issues that may interfere with the daily functions of the club touching on networks, printers, scanners etc. Provide support to staff members who need computer related technical assistance Manages the use and maintenance of technology required for day-to-day operational support of staff and implementation, including first level of support Windows PCs and Windows Servers and maintain network infrastructure ISP, router, Ethernet switch and phones, maintain spare parts and hardware repairs and restoration. Maintains, and supports the IT infrastructure and equipment for offices Ensures Windows and other software is maintained and properly usable. ERP configuration and support. Ensures information is backed up and maintained in accordance with Club policies and procedures. Configures and trouble-shoots servers, laptops, desktops and printers. Managing and keeping track of IT inventory and equipment. Develops and maintains preventive measures to avoid internet-related interruption Monitoring and maintaining computer systems, networks & servers to ensure smooth operation, identify and address problems promptly. Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components. Ensuring the security of Impala Club and server computers by installing and upgrading antivirus and firewall software. Setting up new user accounts and profiles and handling password issues. Keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and updating computer systems, software, and hardware accordingly. The IT Technician shall report to the General Manager Attention to detail, critical thinking and Creative. Possess good communication and strong leadership skills Good interpersonal skills Attention to details passion for technology Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills Strong work ethic, exercise of due diligence and confidentiality. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. A self-motivated Team Player, with a knack for problem solving Ability to write reports
