JOB SUMMARY

Medprime Training College is seeking an experienced and passionate Nurse Tutor to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring nursing, nurse aides, theatre technology and other medical students, developing curriculum, and ensuring the highest standards of nursing education. This role requires a dedicated professional with strong clinical and academic expertise to inspire and educate the next generation of nurses.Interested candidates should share a copy of CV & Cover Letter to hr@medprime.ac.ke

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and deliver nursing curriculum in accordance with regulatory and institutional guidelines.Plan, prepare, and conduct lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions.Evaluate and assess students' academic and clinical performance.Provide mentorship and academic support to nursing students.Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the quality of nursing education.Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.Stay current with advancements in nursing practice and education.Facilitate student placements and coordinate with clinical sites.Conduct research and contribute to academic publications and conferences.Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Nursing, Documentation and record keeping, Medication and prescription administration, Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree
