RESPONSIBILITIES

To organise an assigned section and ensure it runs efficiently and productivelyTo lead and manage Commis Chef/s and kitchen staff in the absence of a more senior chefBe familiar with the other kitchen sections, promoting flexibility and productivityEnsure all food produced is in line with kitchen recipes and standardsPrepare and cook all food orders with a sense of urgencyCheck all food is stored and handled as per current food health and hygiene regulationsEnsure that work area, equipment and section is kept clean at all times, in accordance with current health and hygiene regulations

REQUIRED SKILLS

Hygiene standards (food production), Cakes, pastries and confectionary, Food and beverage, Cooking, food preparation

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Diploma, Associate's degree
