About the Role

Innovative and enthusiastic teachers are at the heart of our learning community, providing the framework for every child's educational, cultural and social development. We deliver a creative curriculum guided by the UK national curriculum enhanced by the exciting learning opportunities available in Kenya.

Durham Kenya has grown year upon year since its opening in Nairobi in January 2021. With this continuing expansion, we are looking to appoint Key Stage 1 teachers who are seeking opportunities for their own personal growth and development into leadership and departmental roles.


 About You

You will be a qualified and passionate educator with a minimum of 2 years experience teaching the UK national curriculum. You will be keen to collaborate and share your expertise, have good interpersonal skills and the ability and confidence to build strong working relationships with students, colleagues and parents. Your flexibility and open-mindedness will enable you to adapt quickly to a fast-paced international environment. Your enthusiasm will inspire teaching and learning across the school and contribute to the extra-curricular aspects of a busy school life.


Remuneration Terms and Conditions

A competitive package will be offered to reflect the experience and qualifications of the successful candidates.

Start Date

Candidates should be available to start in Nairobi in August 2024.
