RESPONSIBILITIES

Build and Manage Strong Relationships with Scholar Support Ecosystem Liaise with public school leadership to support successful and efficient recruitment, onboarding, and continuous scholarship recipient supportLiaise with the SUN community to identify students who meet the eligibility criteria for supportLiaise with Scholarship Officer and SUN facilitators to deliver mentorship and school holiday programmingLiaise with families and build their capacity to support scholar’s learning and well-being, ensuring they understand their role in the scholars upbringingBuild strong relationships with local organizations and government institutions supporting vulnerable girls, including teen moms, to create and advance partnerships for recruitment and support of scholarsSpearhead Mentorship and Scholar Welfare EffortsImplement scholar welfare efforts and serve as mentor to scholarship recipients as necessaryEnsure continuing students are prepared students to report back to schoolMeet with new scholarship students and their families, to onboard them to scholarship programs and policies and ensure they are ready to report to schoolSupport Monitoring, Evaluation, and LearningManage recruitment pipeline from various sources, collecting the data in an organized mannerEnsure scholars submit necessary documents in a timely manner for continued supportSupport with all necessary data collection through home and school visitsMaintain up-to-date Scholarship DatabaseSupport InnovationWith the support of the Scholarship Manager and other SHOFCO team members, co-design the recruitment, selection, disbursement, and monitoring and evaluation of “nudges” to 10,000 vulnerable students annually (nudges will be up to the value of 8,000Ksh in uniform, stationary, and other public school requirements)Provide your insights as they arise to improve programmatic impact and efficiency
