JOB SUMMARY

Learning Experience Design and FacilitationLead the creation and implementation of a fellowship program to develop diverse staff leaders.Lead the design and delivery of a foundational DEI course for global staff.Contribute to developing and delivering a DEI “advocates” series for global staff and network partners. Help design and facilitate a learning and reflection space to enhance team leads’ DEI awareness and capabilities.Support the development and delivery of additional leadership training for global staff.Coaching and ConsultingThought partner with executive leadership, team leads, and other global staff members to reflect on progress towards centering equity in our approach Partner with teams to design and deliver tailored offerings that support teams in their efforts to grow their consciousnessThought partner with leaders of global operations team to ensure our organizational systems, processes, and practices are rooted in equity and inclusionServe as a trusted coach for staff to discuss and address equity challenges they are facingWell-Being and BelongingWork with the People Circle to improve staff well-being by fostering an environment where employees can build positive relationships, manage stress, and contribute meaningfully. RESPONSIBILITIES

To help advance Teach For All's 25-year vision, we are seeking a Director of Equity, Leadership Development. This role will lead our diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts, foster belonging among staff, develop DEI capabilities across our global team, and ensure our systems and practices are equitable and inclusive.Key responsibilities include:Designing and facilitating organization-wide learning experiences, reflection spaces, and structured fellowships.Providing coaching and consulting to teams, individuals, and senior leadership.This role is crucial for embedding our vision and values, centering equity, and fostering belonging among staff. The Director will work closely with the CEO, regional heads, and global team leads, and will be part of the Equity, Leadership, and Organizational Development (EL&OD) team within the broader People Circle. The Director reports to the Chief Administration Officer.Outcomes Success in this role means our global staff have the coaching, learning experiences, and resources needed to center equity into their work, supporting our Diversity & Inclusiveness (D&I) core value.Success Measures:Creation and execution of excellent learning experiences, reflection spaces,  and resources that build D&I mindsets, knowledge, and skills.Positive results in Staff Engagement data across the organization and teamsIncreased percentage of staff who feel welcomed and included by colleagues.Increased percentage of staff who feel their voice, opinions, and working styles are valued by colleagues and managers.Increased percentage of staff who believe we've made progress in growing inclusivity.Increased percentage of staff who believe we value diversity, equity, and inclusion.Increased percentage of staff confident in their DEI journey, including navigating tensions, integrating an equity lens into their work, creating inclusive spaces, and working across differences.Positive feedback from the global organization on the quality of our DEI support and experiences.Description of Job Responsibilities:Strategic LeadershipDevelop and implement a plan to focus on equity and inclusion, including strategies for reflection spaces, learning experiences, and leadership development for diverse staff.Collect and analyze data and feedback to continuously improve our equity practices and refine our systems and processes.Collaborate with executive leadership, team leads, and the People Circle to integrate equity into our work and track progress on key diversity and inclusion metrics.
