JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Pharmacy technician to join our  team. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, possess excellent  communication skills, and have the ability to work well in a  team-oriented environment. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for  dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, and ensuring the  accuracy of medication orders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:Dispense medications accurately and efficientlyReview prescriptions to ensure accuracy, completeness and appropriatenessProvide medication therapy management and patient counselingCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient careMaintain accurate and complete records of medication orders and patient informationEnsure compliance with federal and state regulationsManage inventory and order medications as neededParticipate in ongoing education and training programs to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practiceProvide excellent customer service and resolve any issues or concernsQualifications:Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institutionActive pharmacist license in good standing with the state board of pharmacyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to work in a team-oriented environmentKnowledge of federal and state regulations governing pharmacy practiceFamiliarity with pharmacy computer systems and technologyAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidaysPhysical Demands:The ability to stand or sit for extended periods of timeThe ability to lift up to 50 poundsThe ability to reach, bend, and stoopThe ability to use a computer and other pharmacy technologyWorking Conditions:This job may require working in a retail pharmacy, hospital, or other healthcare settingMay require evening, weekend, or holiday shiftsMay require exposure to hazardous materials or infectious diseasesSalary and Benefits:Competitive salary based on experienceHealth insurance when processed as a permanent employeePaid time off and paid holidaysContinuing education and training opportunitiesWe are an equal-opportunity employer and welcome applications from all qualified individuals.
