Role Overview Summary
  • As an English language teacher educator, you will be responsible for training ministry staff, colleges, and primary school teachers in Central Asian countries (Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan) through planning, preparing, and delivering BLENDED continuous professional development courses.
  • Responsibilities include conducting language proficiency assessments, face-to-face training, mentoring, coaching, facilitating peer learning circles, and organizing synchronous and asynchronous online lessons.

The role is subject to funding approval.



Ideal Applicant Summary
  • Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or post-graduate certificate in education with a minimum of five years of relevant experience as a primary or secondary school teacher trainer/head teacher.
  • Specialization in English Language teaching, along with experience in developing and delivering BLENDED teacher professional development courses in low-resource settings, is required.
  • Strong learner-centered pedagogical expertise and proficiency in online learning platforms and tools specific to English as a foreign language are desirable.
