About the role:


The Sales Executive will be accountable for implementing the set sales objectives for our motorcycles & solar products (distribution) to potential clients, while managing existing accounts.

S/he will oversee the direct sales, relationship management, and overseeing existing customer accounts, the sales process, generate new business leads, maintain existing accounts, and ensure after-sales services are provided in a timely and effective manner.


The successful candidate should be personable, take pride in closing deals, be well-networked, and have experience working / selling Electric Vehicle &/or solar products / projects.

S/he should have a passion to sell new technologies and solar brands while enjoying the challenges and opportunities that come with positioning them in the Kenyan and East African Markets.

They should also have the technical understanding to understand the Electric Motorcycle & Solar panel installation process, and design, and the ability to communicate complex information to customers.


The role will be hybrid and the sales executive is expected to work two (2) days on Solar Product Distribution and three (3) days on motorcycles sales.

S/he will be also responsible to initiate and coordinate marketing activities and participate in commercial events.

Key Duties and responsibilities:

Ensure timely response & attendance to all Electric Motorcycle inquiries and quotations while adhering to internal pricing & process guidelines.

Make field visits to understand client needs, advise on the solar system scope, and generate quotes.

Generate sales through sales activities such as cold calling, client meetings, responding to customer inquiries, prospecting new customers, attending workshops, and networking events to forge lasting customer relationships.

Conduct market research, carry out customer segmentation, identify new trends and keep knowledge of the competitor`s status.

Ensure timely response & attendance to all Solar system inquiries and quotations while adhering to internal pricing & process guidelines.

Report on the progress of planned activities and assist with the identification of potential risks and issues.
Resolve and manage risks, implementation obstacles, and partner relationship issues as they arise.
Enter and regularly update correct and accurate customer details and information on the Sales CRM system.

Generate weekly and monthly sales reports to discuss with the sales operations manager to help the management make informed decisions and appraise performance.

Communicate after-sales support to potential and existing customers.
Follow up on current customers on their maintenance and support needs and ensure timely delivery of the same.

Build and maintain positive work relationships with clients to create a rapport that facilitates fostering customer loyalty and generates after-sales revenue.

Diplomatically handle customer complaints whilst maintaining and guarding the company's reputation.
Be a brand Ambassador and conduct themselves to the same standards

Qualifications

Relevant bachelors' degree or Diploma
Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and business development
Experience working in the electric mobility, renewable energy or automotive industry will be an added advantage
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Strong Interpersonal skills
