Position Summary:
The Technology department drives the strategic Digital Product Roadmap for Rainforest Alliance, supporting Global Business Initiatives and Assurance programs.
The 'Information Office' is a key team within the Technology Department, dedicated to implementing a leading technology ecosystem to support the organization's 2030 strategy.
The Information Security Senior Officer oversees all aspects of information security to safeguard Rainforest Alliance's IT systems and data.
This role involves identifying security risks, implementing security frameworks, and ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
The Information Security Senior Officer manages cyber security KPIs and coordinates information security processes across the organization.Responsibilities:
- Security Policy and Strategy: Analyze and recommend updates to the IT security policy and strategy, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Risk Analysis and Management: Identify and mitigate security risks in IT systems and processes, preparing risk assessments and strategies to minimize these risks.
- Security Measures: Collaborate with IT departments to implement technical security measures, monitor access control, and shape cybersecurity practices.
- Incident Response: Act as the SPOC for the IT Incident Management Team, coordinating security incidents, investigating breaches, and preparing incident reports.
- Awareness and Training: Raise security awareness and provide training to employees on security issues.
- Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with legal regulations and industry standards, prepare and coordinate security audits.
- Collaboration: Work with IT teams and departments to achieve security objectives, maintain relationships with external security partners, and stay updated on industry developments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, information security, or related field.
- Certifications in information security (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are advantageous.
- Minimum 7 years' experience in cyber/information security.
- Expertise in IT security practices, standards, and legislation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
- Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Proactive approach to stay updated on security technologies and trends.
- Experience in business process analysis and modeling.
