The Oslo Center, established in 2006, is an independent organization focusing on peace, democracy, and human rights. Over the years, the center has increasingly emphasized democracy assistance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support Program implementation
- Assist in Programmatic Reporting
- Conduct field Project Visits and manage Logistical Arrangements
- Reconcile provided funds
- Perform political and contextual analysis related to program implementation
- Attend programmatic and staff meetings
- Offer social media and communication support
- Assist in fundraising through Concept notes and proposals
- Participate in discussions regarding strategy development and document creation
- Undertake other assigned duties by the Program Advisor
Qualifications:
- University degree in Law, Political Science, International Relations, Business Administration, or related field
- Good understanding of Kenyan political background and recent developments
- Knowledge of political parties and legislative activities
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, and other software
- Well-organized, skilled in task management, and team-oriented
