JOB SUMMARY
Pathfinder International is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst, Predictive and Risk Analytics for the anticipated USAID-funded Accelerating ChoiCe, Equity, and Sustainability for Services (ACCESS) project. The purpose of this project is to improve sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and related health outcomes among adolescents and youth and other underrepresented and underserved populations by advancing excellence, innovation, and best practices in service delivery.This position entails managing risks associated with project implementation, analyzing data to inform decision-making, and ensuring the effective use of information for programmatic improvement.Required Education and Work Experience:Bachelor's degree in information technology, statistics, information management, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in risk management, data analysis, or information analytics, preferably in the context of international development projects.Experience working with data analysis software such as Python, or SPSS, as well as data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and databases, including data cleaning, manipulation, and interpretation.Strong understanding of predictive and prescriptive analytics models.Strong understanding and experience with data integration models, practices, and resources.Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with experience in statistical analysis and data visualizationStrong understanding of risk management principles and practices, particularly in the context of international development projectsFluency in verbal and written EnglishPreferred Competence and Work Experience:Experience working with international donors, particularly USAID-funded projects.Master's degree in information technology, statistics, information management, or a related field.Familiarity with information management systems and databases, preferably in the context of sexual reproductive health programming, HIS, and social media analyticsFamiliarity and experience with supervised machine learning methods.Familiarity with information management systems and databases, preferably in the context of sexual reproductive health programming, HIS, and social media analyticsOther Information: Technology to be Used:Uses cellular and office phone, laptop, or desktop computer.Travel Requirements:Travel required (10% or less)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and Implementation: Develops and implements strategies to identify and mitigate risks associated with project implementation.Utilizes programmatic, environmental, and public data systems to analyze and identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform programmatic decision-making and enhance service delivery.Risk Management: Contributes to the development of risk management and information analytics tools and methodologies promoting continuous learning and improvement within the project team.Innovates new analytic solutions to meet project and stakeholder needs.Technical Assistance: Provides technical guidance and support on information management systems, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of project data.Builds and maintains relationships with all technical units to ensure that goals are understood and met.Ensures timely coordination and communication of specific program requirements, needs, and initiatives with teams globally.Reporting: Prepares and presents reports and dashboards to project stakeholders, communicating key findings and recommendations for program improvement.Works with technical teams to attain set standards and objectives. Coordinates data management, implementations, and upgrades.
