Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and clients to translate design visions into tangible construction plans that prioritize safety, quality, and sustainability.

  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop project plans, establish timelines, and create schedules for construction activities.

  • Budgeting and Cost Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, procurement of materials and services, and tracking expenses throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Contract Management: Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors, ensuring that terms and conditions are favorable and align with project requirements.

  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to optimize resource utilization and meet project deadlines while adhering to budget constraints.

  • Quality Control and Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure that construction activities meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and hazards associated with construction projects and develop strategies to mitigate them, including implementing safety protocols and procedures.

  • Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Oversee compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards, ensuring that construction sites are safe and environmentally responsible.

  • Site Supervision: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues or deviations from plans, and address any concerns promptly to keep projects on track.

  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status, addressing client inquiries or concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Team Leadership and Coordination: Lead project teams, including construction workers, subcontractors, and other professionals, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure effective collaboration and project delivery.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project activities, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and documentation of safety incidents or regulatory compliance.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, lessons learned, and best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of construction management processes within the consultancy firm.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management.

    • Over 5 years of hands-on experience in construction management roles, preferably within an architectural consultancy firm or similar environment.

    • Proven track record of successfully leading complex construction projects while maintaining strict adherence to EHS standards and regulations.

    • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate project teams to achieve exceptional results.

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building collaborative relationships and fostering a positive work culture.

    • Proficiency in construction management software, project scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
