A draftsman is responsible for ensuring works are carried out according to specifications, involved with design and procedures, and ensures procedures are adhered to.

Key responsibilities include:

* Expert in generating and working on DWG Drawings.
* Identifying and communicating potential design problems.
* Ensuring final designs are compliant with ISO design requirements.
* Coordinating between design and production departments.
* Preparing technical drawings based on specifications and calculations.
* Preparing rough sketches and detailed work using AutoCAD and ArchiCAD.
* Calculating for materials and generating bills of quantities.

Minimum requirements include:

* Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technical Drawing.
* 2-3 years of experience as a draftsman.
* Experience in computer-aided design CAD.
* Excellent technical skills.
* ISO Certified experience.
* Ability to translate concepts and visualize in 3D terms.
* Commitment to accuracy and manual dexterity.
* Great mathematical and cost management skills.
