ABOUT THE COMPANY

The county has a highland equatorial climate resulting into a bimodal rainfall pattern with two rainy seasons, the long rains occurring between February and June and the short rains occurring between September and early December. The adequate rainfall, coupled with moderate temperature is suitable for growing of crops like tea, coffee, maize, beans, and finger millet potatoes, bananas and groundnuts. This also makes it possible to practice dairy farming in the county.

JOB SUMMARY

REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIESi. Be a Kenyan citizen; ii. Served in the grade of registered Engineer (Civil); iii. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; iv. Been registered by the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya; v. Current valid annul Practicing license from the Engineer Registration Board of Kenya; vi. Corporate Member with the Institution of Engineers Registration Board of Kenya; vii. Demonstrate competency in CAD (computer Aided design) use for design preparations and interpretation viii. Demonstrated administrative, professional and management competence in work performance and results. ix. Satisfies the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
