Welder needed for sustainable unit fabrication from shipping containers or prefabricated materials in Nairobi County with flexibility for remote work.

This is a full-time hybrid role at Container Design Africa Ltd. The Welder will be responsible for arc welding, TIG welding, and MIG welding to fabricate sustainable units from shipping containers or prefabricated materials.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing arc welding, TIG welding, and MIG welding to fabricate sustainable units
  • Working with different materials in welding projects
  • Applying hands-on experience in welding techniques and practices
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Ensuring safety procedures and protocols in welding
  • Maintaining strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
  • Collaborating effectively with the team
  • Having a certification or diploma in Welding or related field is a plus
