JOB SUMMARY

UPTEX is a leading sustainable textile waste sorting centre with a mission to reduce textile waste and promote environmentally responsible practices within the textile industry.We have an operation in Nairobi, Kenya, and are seeking a highly motivated and commercially savvy Quality Assurance and Process Coordination Manager to enable our efforts in this endeavour. You will play a crucial role in driving the growth and sustainability of our operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate quality control activities and collaborate with supervisors and their teams to oversee fabric waste collection, sorting, testing, and baling processes.Develop testing protocols to ensure consistency and accuracy in the fabric collection and sorting stages.Oversee employee performance and provide training, support, and feedback on quality control procedures and fabric inspection techniques.Maintain updated documentation of operational procedures, processes, and policies.Work closely with manufacturers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to maintain consistent quality and address any potential issues.Conduct regular internal and external audits of facilities and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.Ensure all post-production textiles meet global standards and specifications for quality.
