Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in a technical fieldTechnical certifications CCNA or JNCIA (desirable) or equivalentIntegration of OTN/DWDM education, certifications, practical experience and technical competenciesQualifications in Sales will be an added advantage

RESPONSIBILITIES

1st Level 24/7 field support, escalation / on-callProactive monitoring of equipment & facilitiesNetwork installation, testing & commissioning, bringing into service, integrationCross connects & jumpingMaintain records, inventory and sparesReceive equipment, bench test, storage and RMA return handlingIncident and problem resolution as directed by NOC / TACProvide Service Desk / NOC / NMC cover during an Emergency / Disaster Recovery eventAssist Service Manager as directedAssist with technical shareholder support / shareholder consultancy and sales supportAssist with network equipment vendor managementAssist with network quality and performance managementAssist with creation of ad hoc reports as neededAssist other departments and lead and report on projects as requested by the Programme ManagerAdhere to all company policies and proceduresProvide both pre-sales and post-sales support to the clients for good client management and retentionMake technical presentations and demonstrations to the WIOCC clientsProvide training and product support for the technical teamsImplementation of agreed sales strategies in the market of Kenya
