The Micro and Small Enterprise Authority (MSEA) is a state corporation established under the Micro and Small Enterprise Act No. 55 of 2012. The Act was developed through a stakeholder's consultation process which took several years. The Authority is now domiciled in the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Co-operatives



Position: SENIOR OFFICE ASSISTANT
REF NO. MSEA - 01/03/2024 (MSEA GRADE 9) 1 POST (CEO'S OFFICE)

Reporting to the Senior Office Administrator, the job holder is responsible for providing basic office support activities in the Executive office and other offices.


Duties and Responsibilities
  • Opening and supervising cleaning at the executive office;
  • Tidying up the space to supplement work done by outsourced cleaners;
  • Preparing and serving beverages;
  • Collecting and delivering letters and documents to and from designated offices internally and externally;
  • Aiding with clients' reception at the executive office as necessary;
  • Keeping an inventory of kitchen equipment and supplies and ordering new materials;
  • Requisitioning general office supplies and stationery for the executive office.

Operating basic office equipment:
Photocopier, scanner, shredders etc.
Arranging meeting venues and organizing for refreshments.

Qualifications for Appointment
For appointment to this position an applicant must have; - Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Mean Grade D Plain;
Four (4) years relevant work experience;
Proficiency in Computer applications;
Demonstrated results in work performance; and

A certificate in Hospitality Management/Food and Beverage or related course from a relevant learning institution will be an added advantage.
