Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Standards Expert to join our team.

As a Standards Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization adheres to industry standards and best practices.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing, implementing, and maintaining standards related to our products or services, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and promote standardized processes, procedures, and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Standardization Development:
Research, develop, and propose standards in accordance with industry requirements and best practices.

Implementation and Compliance:
Oversee the implementation of standards across the organization and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Conformity Assessment:
Conduct assessments to determine conformity with established standards and identify areas for improvement.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to integrate standards into product development, manufacturing, and quality assurance processes.

Education and Training:
Provide training and educational resources to internal stakeholders on standardization principles and practices.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of standards, processes, and compliance activities. Generate reports to communicate compliance status and recommendations.

Industry Engagement:
Stay abreast of industry trends, developments, and regulatory changes related to standardization. Represent the organization in relevant industry forums, committees, and working groups.

Requirements

Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in engineering, science, or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in standardization and conformity assessment principles and practices.
In-depth knowledge of national and international standards relevant to the organization's industry.
Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to adapt to evolving regulatory landscapes and industry requirements.

Preferred Skills:
Certification in standardization or quality management (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor).
Experience in developing and implementing quality management systems.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage timelines effectively.
