The UN-Habitat Regional Office in Africa (ROAf) in Nairobi, Kenya, supports member states in achieving sustainable urban development.

JOB SUMMARY

  • Education: 1st level university degree in Architecture, Urban Development and Planning, or a related field
  • Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience in sustainable development, spatial analysis, urban planning projects, and familiarity with GIS software
  • Experience in public sector and knowledge of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and New Urban Agenda

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Advise and collaborate with the Urban Lab team
  • Analyze and interpret data for project guidance
  • Develop planning proposals, maps, and reports for partner cities
  • Contribute to the development of project portfolio on technology and innovation
  • Organize participatory processes and deliver workshops
