The Job
As the Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) Technical Lead, you will play a crucial role in creating and executing Tiko's detailed strategy to address and prevent sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) at both global and local levels.
In addition to this, you will be responsible for supervising the implementation of the project.Responsibilities:
You will be the technical expert on the SGBV subject at Tiko.
You will liaise with other cross-functional teams to support SGBV-related activities and serve as the primary technical contributor for SGBV-related research, social behaviour change communication and SGBV advocacy.
You will lead the development and contextualization of the SGBV prevention and response/services strategy in all Tiko markets.You will document and develop SGBV advocacy tools to highlight the importance and impact of SGBV on survivors.
You will develop global and country-level SGBV partnerships.
You will develop the skills and knowledge of internal teams so they can effectively implement SGBV programs.
Essentials
A minimum of 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in leading and implementing projects addressing sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) in at least two African countries, with a specific focus on the needs of adolescents and young people.
Experience working with the Governments and especially the Ministry of Health on strategy and delivery efforts and managing donorsStrong networks with funders, technical assistants, working groups, and agencies that support SGBV interventions.
