Job Purpose:

The Senior Backend Developer – .NET will be responsible for creating scalable RESTFul APIs, server-side application logic, and integration with both internal and external systems.

Job Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

The Senior Backend Developer – .NET role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Strategy, Planning & Execution
  • Developing and maintaining efficient RESTFul APIs in C#
  • Building Reusable Code and Library for Future Use
  • Designing and Implementing data storage solutions
  • Collaborating with Frontend and Mobile App developers to define RESTFul API specs
  • Working effectively with technical and non-technical teams to deliver valuable results
  • Participating in Sprint Planning and tracking work items
Essential Knowledge
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in C# application development
  • At least 3 years of ASP.NET Core experience
  • Working knowledge of SOAP and REST services
  • Solid understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices
  • Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and K8s
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle Database, and MongoDB
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Azure/AWS
  • Knowledge of OAuth and JWT Tokens
  • Understanding of API Management solutions
  • Familiarity with MicroService Architecture
  • Experience with gRPC technology
  • Knowledge of Kafka and unit/integration testing
Qualifications
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience in creating integrations with messaging platforms is a plus
  • Familiarity with Google Dialogflow is advantageous
