Our aim is to create happy, beautiful communities, by providing professionals and their families with affordable, investments grade and high quality homes.

Our current project is,Unity West, a residential estate in Tatu City, Nairobi.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Development and Management:

Design and develop training programmes tailored for various construction trades such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, tiling, skimming, and painting.

Create detailed training schedules, lesson plans, and instructional materials.
Ensure the training programme aligns with current industry standards and best practices.

Trainee Coordination:
Recruit, interview, and select trainees for the programme.
Provide orientation sessions for new trainees, outlining programme expectations and objectives.
Monitor trainee progress and provide support to ensure successful completion of the programme.

Instruction and Training Delivery:
Conduct training sessions and workshops, both theoretical and practical, to impart essential skills.
Arrange for guest instructors and industry experts to deliver specialised training sessions.
Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
Schedule and conduct refresher training.

Assessment and Evaluation:
Develop and administer assessments to evaluate trainee skills and knowledge.
Provide regular feedback to trainees on their performance and areas for improvement.
Maintain detailed records of trainee progress and performance.

Industry Collaboration:
Build and maintain relationships with project teams, industry associations, and certification bodies.
Facilitate and supervise on-the-job training opportunities and apprenticeships for trainees.
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant changes into the training programme.

Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all training activities comply with occupational health and safety regulations.
Implement safety training and enforce safety protocols during practical sessions.
Maintain programme accreditation and adhere to relevant legal requirements.

Resource Management:
Manage training resources, including tools, equipment, and training facilities.
Develop and oversee the training programme budget.
Ensure all training materials are up-to-date and in good condition.

Qualifications

TVET registered trainer.
Extensive experience in the construction industry and a strong understanding of various trades.
At least 2 years of experience in training or education, preferably in a vocational or technical setting.
Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop and deliver engaging training content.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
Knowledge of training institute statutory requirements.
