ABOUT THE COMPANY

BasiGo is an early stage e-mobility start-up looking to revolutionise the public transportation sector by providing matatu owners with a cost effective electric alternative to diesel. We're looking for a Finance & Administration Manager to join our team. The Finance & Administration Manager will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer, supporting them in building and managing finance, admin, & HR functions to support the BasiGo team as it scales. This role will offer a lot of opportunity for career growth for the right candidate.

JOB SUMMARY

Required qualifications4+ years proven work experience as a Senior Software Engineer in the automotive / public transport or related industries. BSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or any related fields. Strong technical capabilities in Flutter, Python, SQL, or R. You have demonstrated an ability to learn continuously, work autonomously, and make decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement scalable and reliable software systems architectures.Develop a suite of software applications for data acquisition, customer management, customer reporting and payments, and operations management.Design and implement reliable cloud based architectures (e.g. AWS or similar solutions)Develop interfaces to third-party software services and data systems.Deploy tools and simple processes to facilitate QA, issue resolution, and bug trackingProvide technical guidance and feasibility to stakeholder business requirementsWork with cross-departmental teammates to assess software development projects, define priorities and communicate status.Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team membersParticipate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related codeCreate system documentation

REQUIRED SKILLS
