DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To provide care to students and staff who need general treatment, emergency care due to injury or who present with an acute illness
  • Understand each students medical background
  • Administer medication and deliver health services as a licensed health care provider
  • Assist in monitoring chronic medical conditions
  • Coordinate care and student emergency action plans related to common ailments
  • Administer first aid to students and Staffs
  • Obtain parental consent for health services
  • Develop an Individual Health Plan for children with chronic disease

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 Plus years' experience as a school nurse or pediatric nurse in a hospital
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability and passion to deal with small children
  • Dedication and excellence at work
  • Mature and committed to duty
