Seeking a Civil QA/QC Engineer to ensure high-quality standards in civil projects, with a focus on quality assurance and control processes, inspections, and compliance with industry standards.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Civil QA/QC Engineer to join our team in Kenya. As a Civil QA/QC Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and control processes, ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Your keen eye for detail and proactive approach will ensure that any potential issues are addressed before they become problems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing inspections on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities on site.
  • Issuing Quality Records and writing non-conformances reports when necessary.
  • Checking the preparation of foundations, reinforcements, and certifications regarding element mixes.
  • Monitoring atmospheric conditions during pouring operations and correct curing operations.
  • Collecting, checking, and managing documents certifying tests, controls, and inspections carried out.
  • Ensuring the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan according to clients' requirements.

Additionally, you will:

  • Work closely with other team members.
  • Prepare Daily reports, Observations, and Non-Conformance reports as necessary.
  • Follow HSEQ Procedure at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working on major civil/building works projects in Power Plants or Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Swahili.
