The United Nations Office for Project Services is an operational arm of the United Nations, dedicated to implementing projects for the United Nations System, international financial institutions, governments, and other aid partners.


Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Produce photos and videos, such as interviews, b-roll, and aerial footage to showcase UNOPS projects and activities.
  • Edit photos, including retouching and correction.
  • Create scripts and innovative concepts for video stories in collaboration with the communications team.
  • Edit videos for social media and other platforms, ensuring they comply with UNOPS branding guidelines.
  • Manage a photo database in alignment with communication standards.
  • Participate in project meetings to understand requirements and plan filming activities.
  • Have the necessary equipment and be willing to travel as needed.
Delivery:
  • Provide at least 5 digital photos immediately after an activity and 20 photos within 48 hours, all with relevant metadata.
  • For video assignments, upload raw footage to the designated drive promptly after completion.
  • Ensure all videos meet professional quality standards and branding guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in film, journalism, photography, media, or related fields preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in shooting and editing images and videos.
  • Proficiency in editing software like Photoshop and Adobe Premiere.
  • Familiarity with the local and national media landscape is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in developmental projects and the UN system is a plus.
