Role Summary:


The Psychologist role involves creating a safe and supportive space where our clients can openly discuss their challenges and receive support through counseling.

We are seeking a passionate and compassionate Psychologist who excels at connecting with people and supporting their mental and emotional well-being.

In this role, you will work closely with individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, providing expert guidance and support.


Responsibilities:

Client Interaction & Assessment:
Conduct detailed interviews, conversations, and observations to assess clients' mental and emotional well-being. Establish rapport and build trust with patients.

Management Planning & Implementation:
Develop, implement, and regularly review effective management plans, incorporating counseling, therapy techniques, and referrals as necessary. Collaborate with clients to set and achieve goals.

Counseling & Education:

Employ effective counseling techniques, educate clients on coping mechanisms, and provide ongoing support to help them navigate challenging situations.


Progress Monitoring & Adjustment:
Follow up on patients' progress, adjust management plans as needed, and maintain detailed, confidential records.

Collaboration & Coordination:
Coordinate with clients' support networks, and collaborate with government and community resources to enhance client care.
Multi-platform

Service Delivery:
Work both at medical centers and virtually via the Pigia Penda telemedicine platform.

Key requirements and attributes

Diploma in Clinical Psychology
Must be Registered by Counselors & Psychologists Board, KCPA
2 years of experience as a professional counselor.
