Graphic Designer sought for a role at Savannah Informatics. The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling, a keen eye for design aesthetics, and experience with Adobe Creative Suite. The role involves creating engaging visual content, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and participating in design critiques and presentations. Responsibilities include communication, content creation, storytelling, research, and timely delivery. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a design-related field, certifications in relevant areas, and experience working as a graphics and design intern or assistant. A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects is also required. Experience with animation and video editing is a plus.

Key responsibilities:

* Clearly articulate design concepts, rationale, and execution to stakeholders.
* Collaborate closely with project & product managers, copywriters, and other team members.
* Develop visually striking and cohesive design concepts for various communication channels.
* Execute the production of high-quality design assets.
* Continuously refine and iterate on design solutions based on feedback and performance metrics.
* Use design elements to craft compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences.
* Conduct industry market research on target audience needs, trends in the industry, competitor analysis, and identify opportunities for innovative design approaches.
* Gather feedback from stakeholders and audience engagement metrics to inform design iterations and improvements.

Key requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in a design-related field or a similar discipline-related field.
* Certifications in relevant areas such as Journalism, Communications & Design or Marketing courses.
* Experience working as a Graphics & Design intern, assistant, or junior hire in a relevant field.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
* Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects and creative solutions.
* Experience with animation and video editing is a plus.
