ABOUT THE COMPANY

Momentum Credit was founded in March 2017 with purposeful intent to meet an overwhelming market need of providing structured working capital solutions to Individuals and Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

SMEs are touted, by reputable institutions such as the World Bank, as the economic growth engines that shall drive Africa out of chronic poverty to the utopia of middle income status. However such companies regularly face a crippling lack of access to financing, due to the broad based perception of being too risky.

Contrary to this belief, we at Momentum Credit believe in the aspirations of our continent and exist as a credible alternative for this market. We focus on providing structured solutions that make credit easily and readily accessible to those that can afford such financing, whom in most cases, would be undeservedly labelled as unbankable. Which is why at Momentum Credit we believe in "Expanding Your Possibilities".

JOB SUMMARY

This job exists to oversee and manage cash collections of all loans/disbursements made by the organization as well as to oversee delinquency escalation in compliance with the law.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive overall collections efficiency and effectiveness across the business.Build, monitor, adjust, and automate world-class internal collections systems and processes. Ensuring all litigation cases are dispensed with cost-effectively and efficiently. Identify, train, and deliver tools to drive customer satisfaction during the recovery process. Ensure the tracking efficiency of the vehicles in the asset-financed portfolio remains within acceptable tolerance limits.Ensure all the Motor vehicles in the asset-financed portfolio are comprehensively insured. Ensuring all litigation cases are dispensed with cost-effectively and efficiently.Build and manage relationships with partners and third-party suppliers.Oversee relevant expenditures in functional teams to drive overall company profitability while minimizing losses. Coaching, training, and developing junior staff members to support long-term career development and effective succession planning. Effective and efficient conflict resolution. Liaise with the Credit Manager to ensure lending guidelines are aligned with quality objectives.Conduct regular training of direct reports to ensure compliance with business processes.
