Responsibilities:
- Maintain computer networks, including mainframes, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware
- Install and configure network equipment
- Secure systems as a System Administrator, by creating firewalls, updating virus protection software, and enhancing data security
- Monitor computer systems to optimize network performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve networking issues, effectively communicating with colleagues and management
- Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions to meet customer requirements, focusing on storage and cloud systems
- Collaborate with Project Managers on infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality delivery
- Conduct regular health checks and assist in resolving customer infrastructure issues
- Identify customer pain points to drive new business opportunities for sales teams
- Deploy disaster recovery procedures
- Stay updated on security and networking best practices to provide optimal solutions and protection for company systems
- Perform Server Administration and provide end-user support

Educational Background and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Over 5 years of experience in delivering and maintaining IT infrastructure projects using leading vendors
- Familiarity with a range of IT product technologies including storage, cloud computing, servers, networks, and operating systems
- Awareness of technical advancements in storage, virtualization, cloud computing, and servers, with a keen interest in future trends
