ABOUT THE COMPANY

The Communications Authority of Kenya is the regulatory authority for the communications sector in Kenya.

Established in 1999 by the Kenya Information and Communications Act, 1998, the Authority is responsible for facilitating the development of the Information and Communications sectors including; broadcasting, multimedia, telecommunications, electronic commerce, postal and courier services.

JOB SUMMARY

Person SpecificationFor appointment to this grade, a candidate must:Have a minimum of eight (10) years relevant work experience, with at least three (3) years in a Supervisory Role;Have a Bachelors Degree in Communications or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.Have a Masters Degree in Communication or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;Be registered with a professional body such as PRSK from a recognized institution;Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution;Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution or an equivalent leadership development program
