Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive equipment reliability and facilities management strategy with clear steps to drive site priorities.
  • Build capabilities in the Kenya site maintenance team to create and drive a loss elimination culture that supports front-line teams.
  • Utilize maintenance strategy and TPM knowledge to drive autonomous maintenance capability at the front line.
  • Develop performance goals, calculate methods, targets, and reporting tools, as well as a daily management system for maintenance reviews.
  • Develop and implement a robust maintenance planning and scheduling program to drive equipment reliability.
  • Identify and implement cost savings projects in Repair & Maintenance to reduce costs and drive value.
  • Lead the site sustainability agenda in conjunction with the Safety / Health and Environment (SHE) department.
  • Partner with Plant Leader and Steering Committee to coordinate maintenance activities across the site.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required; degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance organization leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with establishing and executing a maintenance reliability strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience leading people and change management.
  • Knowledge of TPM / Lean Manufacturing and Planned Maintenance / Equipment Reliability strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience in SAP PM Module.
  • Experience in the FMCG / CPG sector working with automated processing and packaging equipment.
  • Experience in a 24x7 environment.
