ROLE SUMMARY
The Refrigeration Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems and equipment.

ROLE POFILE
Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration and Air Conditioning systems.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and implement effective solutions.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to test refrigeration systems and Air Conditioning components.
Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies related to refrigeration systems.
Ensuring safety procedures are followed to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Performing scheduled maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and ensuring all components are in good working condition.

Conducting regular inspections of refrigeration systems to check for signs of wear, leaks, or other issues.

REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning
2+ years' experience working on Industrial refrigeration system installation, maintenance and repair.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical diagrams and schematics.

SKILLS
Strong understanding of refrigeration systems, HVAC principles, and electrical components.
Ability to diagnose and fix a wide range of technical issues.
Capability to work in various environments, sometimes in cold spaces or heights.
Highly organized with strong multitasking skills
Adaptive in a multicultural environment
Attentive and actionable
Precision in tasks to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
