RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Kindergarten teacher at Holy Cross Catholic International school, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the minds of our students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging informative lessons that align with the Cambridge curriculum.Teaching and educating students according to the educational needs, abilities and attainment potential of individual students entrusted to his/her care by the School Principal.Planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons and activities that promote the cognitive,social and emotional growth of students.Contributing to and sharing responsibility for the realization of the vision and philosophy of the school.Demonstrating and promoting the positive values, attitudes and behaviors that are expected from all members of staff.Regularly assessing student progress and development, providing feedback to parents/guardians. Maintaining accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.Communicating effectively with parents/guardians,colleagues and administrators to support student learning and development.Working within the school's policies and framework relating to teachers' responsibilities.Creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning, is developmentally appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students and maintaining an organized and focused learning environment.Infusing joy and passion for learning in lessons so that students are excited and interested in their academic excellence.Being accountable for students' mastery of content and academic standards.Maintaining positive, constructive and professional relationship with students, their families and colleagues.
