Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef/Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of preparing popular Kenyan dishes and international cuisines in a fast-paced, casual dining environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a small kitchen team, maintaining cleanliness, and serving delicious, homestyle meals that keep customers coming back.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning & Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a wide range of Kenyan meals efficiently and consistently.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff including cooks, stewards, and kitchen assistants and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Quality Control & Hygiene: Observe proper food handling, safety, and hygiene practices.

Key Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you will need:
  • Diploma or Degree in Food Production from a recognized institution or relevant kitchen experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a busy restaurant or hotel.
  • Proven knowledge of Kenyan and continental cuisines.
