About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investigations Officer to join our team at the World Food Programme. As an Investigations Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into allegations of wrongdoing and misconduct.
  • Develop and implement effective investigation plans and strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and evidence.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations for management.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on investigation procedures and best practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in Criminology, Investigations, Law, Audit, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in conducting investigations, preferably in a humanitarian or development context.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
