About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investigations Officer to join our team at the World Food Programme. As an Investigations Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into allegations of wrongdoing and misconduct.
- Develop and implement effective investigation plans and strategies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and evidence.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations for management.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on investigation procedures and best practices.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A university degree in Criminology, Investigations, Law, Audit, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in conducting investigations, preferably in a humanitarian or development context.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
