We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Controller to join Crystal Recruitment Ltd based in South Sudan.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with department heads to ensure maximum profitability through effective budget management and cost projections.
  • Analyze all incoming products, resources, and services to negotiate the best possible prices.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure optimal pricing and quality.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends that may impact resource costs and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Develop and implement proactive solutions and cost-cutting measures to maximize efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Present new strategies and assessments to stakeholders in a compelling fashion, educating and persuading them to procure buy-in and cooperation.

Critical skills required for this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or relevant field strongly preferred.
  • Proven work experience working in cost control.
  • Hospitality experience a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with an aptitude for data analysis.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solid networking and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to generate budgets and reports.
  • Strong presentation skills, able to explain concepts concisely and accurately.
  • Able to develop strong, cooperative relationships with department heads.
  • Creative thinking skills and ability to solve problems.
