We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Controller to join Crystal Recruitment Ltd based in South Sudan.
Responsibilities- Work closely with department heads to ensure maximum profitability through effective budget management and cost projections.
- Analyze all incoming products, resources, and services to negotiate the best possible prices.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure optimal pricing and quality.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends that may impact resource costs and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Develop and implement proactive solutions and cost-cutting measures to maximize efficiency without compromising quality.
- Present new strategies and assessments to stakeholders in a compelling fashion, educating and persuading them to procure buy-in and cooperation.
Critical skills required for this role include:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or relevant field strongly preferred.
- Proven work experience working in cost control.
- Hospitality experience a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills with an aptitude for data analysis.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Solid networking and interpersonal skills.
- Able to generate budgets and reports.
- Strong presentation skills, able to explain concepts concisely and accurately.
- Able to develop strong, cooperative relationships with department heads.
- Creative thinking skills and ability to solve problems.
