Research Expert Role
The New Frontier Institute is seeking experienced Research Experts to join its pool of affiliated professionals. As a Research Expert, you will contribute to the implementation of our research projects, providing specialized support on an on-call basis. You will be responsible for:
  • Leading research projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Developing and disseminating research findings, engaging with relevant audiences.
  • Serving as thematic leads, providing expert guidance and technical services in designated areas.

Key Responsibilities:
We expect applicants to have a strong background in research and development, with at least 10 years of experience in Kenya and Horn of Africa. A master's degree or PhD in a relevant social science discipline is required, along with a deep understanding of local contexts, particularly in Northern Kenya. Furthermore, they should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in teams and build collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
