About The Role

As the General Manager, you will be responsible for building and overseeing a high-performing team, running day-to-day operations, and driving revenue generation. Your mission is to grow our community while ensuring its high caliber membership and maintaining profitability and sustainability.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Community Growth: Foster a thriving community that maintains its high standards of excellence.
  • P&L Ownership: Take full ownership of profit and loss, driving revenue growth and managing costs to ensure long-term sustainability.
  • Business Development & Partnerships: Establish strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to drive business growth and revenue opportunities.
  • Serving as the Local Face: Represent us in key forums and media outlets, showcasing our entrepreneurial spirit and community values.
  • Managing Stakeholders: Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Creating Work Opportunities for Young Africans: Facilitate work opportunities for young Africans by enabling early career talent to build relationships with local corporate partners.
  • Driving a Culture of Execution: Serve as the custodian of our entrepreneurial culture, embracing challenges and delivering results.

KPIs:

  • Talent Recruitment: Number of talents recruited into our training programs.
  • Community Growth: Measure new community growth.
  • Customer Experience: Measured by learner net promoter score.
  • Impact: Number of work opportunities created for young talent.
