Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have two years of post-admission experience in a commercial or conveyancing practice area. They will be responsible for providing legal advice, drafting legal opinions, and conducting research on relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interview with clients to understand their legal concerns and provide expert guidance
  • Provide detailed legal and technical advice, including drafting complex legal opinions
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on litigation matters
  • Research relevant laws, regulations, precedents, and case law
  • Draft and review various legal documents
  • Effectively manage deadlines and court schedules
  • Prepare and file legal pleadings and documents with the relevant court or tribunal
  • Collaborate with other lawyers and colleagues on complex litigation cases
Requirements
  • Post-admission experience in a busy law firm
  • Upper 2nd Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized university
  • Valid practicing certificate
