Medical Director

Bluesky Associate Africa is a leading healthcare provider seeking a seasoned Senior Medical Officer to drive the overall Hospital Group Business performance.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Senior Management Team to ensure smooth and efficient Hospital operations, resulting in high-quality compassionate care service delivery.

The primary goal is to provide timely provision of quality medical services, quality patient care, and medical counseling services by offering overall leadership to internal teams.

• Drive business performance across hospital branches through proactive clinical leadership.
• Ensure customer-centric cultural alignment among staff members.
• Develop and implement strategies for timely and efficient high-quality care outcomes.

Specifically, this role will be responsible for:

• Providing overall proactive clinical leadership to medical officers and other staff across hospital branches.
• Leading hospital quality assurance and standards management by developing, implementing, and evaluating key clinical and service delivery processes.
• Ensuring hospital operations efficiency through senior clinical oversight of locality management, critical incidents, safe prescribing, and quality improvement activities.
• Championing business development initiatives to drive overall growth of clinical services.

• Minimum 4 years' experience working as a Medical Officer in a busy level 4 hospital facility.
• Undergraduate degree in Clinical Medicine.
• Postgraduate training or advanced experience in Internal Medicine, Health Systems Management, Critical Care, or Business Leadership & Management.
• Certificate in basic life support and Advanced Cardiac life support.
• Knowledge of relevant legislations and professional standards.
• Evidence of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Good computer skills and report preparation.
