Ambulatory Nurse Specialist

The Ambulatory Nurse Specialist will provide high-quality nursing care to ambulatory patients in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This role involves patient assessment, treatment administration, accurate documentation, and adherence to nursing protocols.

The nurse plays a vital role in supporting continuity of care, quality improvement initiatives, and contributing to a positive patient experience.

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient nursing services, including triage, procedures, medication administration, and patient counseling
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation in accordance with hospital and professional standards
• Support preventive care services such as vaccinations, nutritional assessments, and well-baby checks
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for emergency and follow-up care
• Participate in quality improvement and health promotion activities

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing recognized by the Nursing Council of Kenya
• Current registration and license with the Nursing Council of Kenya
• Certification in PILS/EPALS and Phlebotomy
• Proficient in outpatient care procedures and medical equipment use
• Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and cultural competence
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
