Job Title: Social Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Social Development Specialist. This role will provide technical support to clients in the public and private sectors, focusing on social risks management and social benefits optimization.

Job Description:

The Social Development Specialist will work closely with task teams and clients to advise on social development strategies, conduct social impact assessments, and develop social risk management plans. The specialist will also provide technical support to government agencies implementing Bank-financed projects, ensuring that they meet the World Bank's environmental and social standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Social Sciences or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing social and environmental risks in infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of the World Bank's Environmental and Social Framework (ESF) and Operational Policies
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving skills, and ability to think innovatively
