About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Knowledge Manager to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing knowledge management strategies to support our child protection programs worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge management system to store and share knowledge products related to child protection.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to identify knowledge gaps and develop solutions to address them.
  • Design and implement training programs to build capacity on knowledge management practices among staff.
  • Support the development of knowledge products, including reports, briefs, and presentations.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external partners to access relevant knowledge and expertise.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in international development, public health, social work, human rights, psychology, sociology, international law, communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in knowledge management, preferably in a development or humanitarian context.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with knowledge management tools and technologies.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is approximately $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, paid leave, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Working Hours

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities as needed.
