Key Qualifications

  • Postgraduate degree in Gender, Human Rights, International Law, Peace & Conflict Studies or related field.
  • Experience of using Monitoring and Evaluation tools.
  • Strong administrative skills and ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Indepth knowledge of Human Security and Gender issues including Women Peace and Security, conflict related sexual violence, Children and Armed Conflict, Protection of Civilians, and fundamental humanitarian principles.
  • Experience as a Gender or Civilian Protection Officer, preferably working in a civmilpol environment with mission experience with the UN/AU and other international stakeholders.
