About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled fashion designer and tailor to join our team. As a multi-skilled professional, you will be responsible for creating original designs for women's business, casual, and Afro-inspired wear.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and translate fashion trends and cultural elements into wearable, brand-aligned pieces
• Develop design sketches, digital flats, and visual presentations for internal reviews
• Collaborate on seasonal themes, color stories, and textile directions
• Draft and modify custom patterns for various women's silhouettes
• Build prototypes and sample garments from scratch, ensuring precision and fit
• Perform detailed garment fittings and make adjustments based on feedback
• Execute clean, production-ready finishes with high craftsmanship

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a tailor and fashion designer
• Proficiency in garment construction, cutting, stitching, and finishing for women's wear
• Strong design portfolio showcasing creativity and originality
• Ability to work with different types of fabrics and understand garment structure and sizing
• Excellent measurement and alteration skills with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to sketch or use basic design tools (manual or digital) to present clothing ideas
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-driven, organized, and capable of managing multiple orders and deadlines
