As we scale our operations and enhance quality standards, we are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on Production Manager to lead our production floor with discipline, precision, and a strong sense of ownership.Role SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and technically strong Production Manager with deep expertise in flexographic and gravure printing processes. The ideal candidate will be systems- and process-driven, capable of implementing policies, SOPs, and performance systems to optimize operations. A natural leader, they will foster a culture of accountability, cleanliness, and safety, ensuring the highest standards of operational excellence and compliance.Key Responsibilities Lead daily production operations across printing, lamination, slitting, and pouching, with a hands-on approach. Ensure consistent product quality through technical excellence in flexo and gravure printing. Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production systems. Drive cleanliness, hygiene, and health & safety protocols, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards. Monitor and manage KPIs such as OEE, waste levels, downtime, and productivity; take swift corrective actions. Build and sustain a culture of discipline, responsibility, and continuous improvement on the shop floor. Collaborate cross-functionally with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and HR to achieve business goals. Coach and mentor supervisors and operators, enhancing team skills and accountability. Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting of equipment and process-related issues. Plan and manage manpower, production scheduling, and resource allocation for maximum efficiency.Required Qualifications & Skills 10+ years of experience in a flexible packaging production environment. Proven technical expertise in flexographic and gravure printing is mandatory. Deep understanding of equipment, inks, substrates, and processes in flexible packaging. Strong track record of building and sustaining clean and safe shop floor environments. Excellent problem-solving, people management, and leadership capabilities. Highly organized with a process-first mindset; experience in implementing lean manufacturing, or similar methodologies is a plus. Proficient in using production monitoring tools, reporting systems, and ERP platforms. Strong communication skills in English; local language proficiency is a bonus. Qualification in Engineering, Printing Technology, or Industrial Management is preferred.
